Free HIV testing and HIV/STI prevention education is being offered by Nebraska AIDS Project in sixteen southwest Iowa counties. Funds for this program are provided by the Iowa Department of Public Health. The HIV testing is done by a finger stick blood test, and results are available in 60 seconds. Follow up and connection to care for clients testing positive is provided.
