The third year for the Mount Ayr Community Garden located at Trinity Lutheran Church is going well! The two 4’ X 12’ boxes added this spring with funding from a Hy-Vee One Step Garden Grant have expanded the options for the garden. Ringgold County Hospital Health Coach Leslie Murphy will be encouraging clients who could benefit from adding fresh vegetables to their diets to go to the community garden to gather produce to use in their meal preparation.
